# Monday Commitment Card - Build-a-Skill

> Print one per participant. Hand out with a pen at the close of the session. The point isn't to write a Skill today and forget it - it's to use one **next week**, on a real task, with someone keeping you honest.

MY MONDAY COMMITMENT - Build-a-Skill

Name: ____________________________________________

The ONE task I'll automate with a Skill this week:
___________________________________________________
___________________________________________________

The Skill I'll write (or finish) first:
___________________________________________________

Where I'll save it so my team can reuse it:
___________________________________________________
(shared drive / wiki / channel - Way #5)

My accountability buddy: __________________________

We'll check in on (date): _________________________

One thing I'll double-check before I trust the output:
___________________________________________________
(a date / an owner / a figure - Way #2)

+-------------------------------------------------------------+

## How to use it (facilitator note)

- Hand these out in the closing 10 minutes (`1:37` on the [timing cues](../../facilitator-guide.md)), alongside pens.
- Ask everyone to fill the **task**, the **buddy**, and the **check-in date** before they leave the room - those three lines are what survive the day.
- Have pairs swap cards or photograph each other's, so the commitment is witnessed, not private.
- Buddies are best chosen across teams - a programme manager and an ops lead checking in beats two people on the same desk.

> The "double-check before I trust it" line is deliberate: it bakes [Way #2 - a human always signs the work](../ways-of-working.md) into the habit from day one. AI invents owners, dates, and figures; the card reminds them which one to catch.
